HP Unveils Its Lightest Consumer Laptop Line-up – Pavilion Aero
Last year HP announced it was ditching the traditional plastic of its consumer laptops to make them lighter. It said it was doing so both because consumers want lighter products and because it thought it could improve the overall experience. The move has not had a significant impact on the overall weight of the laptops yet, with the mainstream Pavilion 15 family still weighing in at a hefty 2.9kg, but the company is keeping its experimental line-up, the Pavilion Aero.
HP’s Pavilion series of laptops are some of the most popular on the market, and the company is finally upgrading its range with a new line of entry-level models — which are now the lightest. The new Pavilion line is geared toward business users, and it has seven models that range from the $349 Pavilion 14 to the $549 Pavilion 17.
HP has unveiled its newest series of Pavilion computers after a year of silence, and the company claims it took a radical approach to the design with the new family. They have been named Pavilion Aero, and the 2-in-1 laptops are designed to be both “lazier” and “more eco-friendly”. The first laptop to arrive in the series is the Pavilion 14, and it is part of the 14-inch model family. The new Pavilion Aero is basically the same as the current Pavilion 14, but it has an aluminum body and a new “lighter” design.
HP Inc. has finally announced its long-awaited Pavilion Aero series devices, calling them the lightest consumer laptops. The first laptop in the line, the HP Pavilion Aero 13 Laptop PC weighs just a pound and has a robust design and enough power to keep you connected and productive all day long.
In addition to the laptop, the Pavilion Aero series also includes monitors, the HP M24fwa FHD monitor and the HP M27fwa FHD monitor, a new member of the M series.
The new range has been developed and created to meet the ever-increasing needs of consumers who are always on the move. According to reports, users are looking for laptops and PCs not only for work, but also for entertainment on the go. With the new Pavilion Aero 13, users can get the most out of their laptop without weighing it down.
Josephine Tan, global head and general manager of HP Inc’s consumer PC business, said the new line of devices is designed for users who are constantly looking for devices that are not only powerful but also lightweight.
The Pavilion Aero series combines the streamlined, high-end look and feel of the HP Spectre and ENVY portfolios with enhanced performance and features.
It is also reported that the Pavilion Aero series laptop is an AMD exclusive and is powered by the efficient and functional AMD Zen 3 core architecture, which delivers impressive and seamless performance and battery life.
